Create a Professional Trimble Identity account

In the following article, you can find the procedure for creating a Trimble Identity account and the different resources you can access with it.

To create a Trimble Identity account, go to https://account.tekla.com/


Click the Sign in: button




Click Create account to create your new personal Trimble Identity account.

After clicking the Create account button, the following window appears:



Enter your information and click Send code.

You will receive an email with a code:



Enter the code on the site and click Send:



Enter your password and click Send:



Review your account preferences and click Send:



Complete your profile information, select the professional profile type, and click Save:



Join your Tekla Online organization in one of the following ways:

1. Switch to the My organization page; on your user profile page, select an organization you want to join and click Send request. If there are no organizations in the list, it means that your email address does not match that of any existing organization.
2. Ask your company's Trimble Identity administrator to invite you, and accept the invitation when it arrives by email or on the user profile pages at https://account.tekla.com/. Your Trimble Identity is now active, and you can install Tekla Structures and obtain a license.

Membership in an organization can also affect your access to data stored in your organization's cloud, such as Tekla Model Sharing models. Make sure not to switch between organizations unnecessarily. When available, use your company email address with your Trimble Identity.

Using this account, as long as your organization has an active Tekla Maintenance subscription, you can access the different Tekla Structures resources, such as:

• Tekla Admin Tool
• Tekla Download
• Tekla User Assistance
• Tekla Warehouse
• Tekla Discussion Forum
• Trimble Connect Business (may be nominal)
